Did you know?  The UK game of Pool was invented before Snooker!  The term Snooker was first used back in 1875 by a British Colonel to describe his new game which blended two different types of pool - previously played on billiard tables!  The first rules for Snooker Tables were created in the early 1880's and gained great popularity in the 1930's when legend Joe Davis shared the game of Snooker with the world.

Slate bed snooker tables emerged from the slate bed billiard tables that were used throughout the 19th century and we still play Pool, Snooker and Billiards on these excellent tables today.
