Setting it up!
Upon first looking at the instruction manual things will look very daunting and for the first two stages it will be untill you get into the grove. Although it is very possible to put one of these machines up yourself, i would recomend someone helping you to reduce the swearing and stress although if your like me, thats the fun of it. The only major problem i had was getting to grips with the aircraft nuts which are actualy very simple to install. (Just need an alan key and a spanner). Its time consuming putting it up, so i would set aside 4-5 hours. Also make sure you are building where its going to stay and on the matting provided because once its only half way through its almost impossible to move it. Dont be too soon to criticise it while building like i did as things all start coming together by the end.
Pros
+ Relatively easy to follow instructions and build
+ Wide range of excercises
+ fluid weight movement (wd40 helps on all joints)
+ Value for money
+ attractive looks
+ easy to follow excercise poster
Cons
- low quality fabrics and therfore not amazing comfort
- No weight numbers on the weight stack
- Some of the excerices do feel awkard but then again its bound to when so many different one are crammed into one machine
Overall i would recomend the Marcy Premier and give it 4/5. If you are lookign for a multi gym with a wide range of excercises at great value...this is the one for you.
