READOUT INCLUDES: 500m split times, calories, strokes per minute, total number of strokes, power output in watts, distance rowed, stopwatch, heart-rate.
VERDICT: By far the longest machine, unfortunately, it doesn??t fold for storage. On the plus side, although it utilises magnetic resistance combined with an air paddle system, it is reasonably smooth. The footrest set-up is similar to the Concept??s, complete with adjustment, and this solid piece of kit is the best alternative to that machine. Duration of workouts can be set in time or metres and it can operate in race or training mode between 500 metres and 10,000 metres or up to 180 minutes. It can also be used with a Polar heart-rate monitor.
