For 15 years, I have enjoyed success as a freelance instructor both in group and one-to-one situations. over these years I have kept abreast of new research and studies in the fitness industry, ensuring my knowledge is up to date. most recently, you will note, that I have been studying advanced instructor modules towards my personal training diploma.

In a group exercise situation, providing advice is like casting your eye over a car to make an appraisal, whereas, personal training is like performing a full service. for me, the philosphy of personal training can be defined in terms of 'providing a holistic orientated service'. each programme is based on a client's individually established needs and goals.

Working with a client on a one-to-one basis means I can take into account the client's mental, emotional and social selves. the personal training programme is ongoing and can be adjusted when the client reaches his/her goals.

I hope my clients would tell you that I motivate and support them whilst maintaining a sense of humour and being especially sensitive to the issues they might have when it comes to lifestyle choices.
