Starving is not the right approach to lose weight. What we have to realize is
that just being thin does not imply that we are healthy. Many of us resort to
various drastic measures to lose weight like ? dieting, excessive exercising and
starving. These drastic measures end up making us fall sick. These measures, if
adopted for a long time, end up damaging our entire system. Many celebrities have
vouched for the fact that excessive dieting or exercising ends up making them
obsessed about their looks and weight. They end up falling prey to various deadly
diseases like-
- bulimia
- anorexia
- and so on
These diseases, in turn, make them suffer more. Research has proved that in such
cases the fat people are healthier than the thin ones. We have to understand the
simple fact, that just being thin does not mean that you are fit. We have to opt
for a correct balance between exercising and dieting.
Many people go for rigorous workouts thinking that it would help them flaunt
a well-toned body. What they fail to realize is that excessive exercise can
actually end up damaging the entire system. Often, people over-exercise and
end up getting a sprain or stiff neck. It is important to exercise properly
and not to over stress oneself.
