We all know, that junk food is bad for health. We know how unhealthy it is for
us. However, we can run, we can hide, but we cant escape from them. Here are a
few tricks to curb the damage caused by junk food:
1) While having a sandwich always take the upper bread off. It may just seem
that you are taking a slice off but open sandwiches are helpful. Many people
have vouched for that.
2) While choosing a salad, subway or sandwich filling, choose ingredients that
are low on fat and healthy too. Abstain from mayonnaise and cheese and fried
chicken and ham. You can go for cold cut chickens, yoghurt dressing, and vinegar
dressing instead.
3) Always go for wheat pasta or bread rather than refined flour ones. Brown
bread is not only nutritious for us, but is also low on fat.
4) Always opt for mashed potatoes than hash browns or French fries. Mashed potato
has a much lower calorie quotient compared to hash browns.
5) Always include a lot of leafy vegetables in your junk food.
6) In case, you are ordering food, give special instructions to keep a tab on
the oil or fat in your food.
