All of us are so tied up with our office work, that it becomes difficult for us to squeeze out time to exercise our body. Moreover, people who have a desk job find it all the more difficult to do so. Most of the people stuck with a desk job often complain about putting on weight. As they spend about 12 to 14 hours on their work, they hardly get time to do anything else. Here are a few basic and simple pointers for our busy bees:-

1) Walk around your office as much as you can. Say your printer is in another room. Every time, you give a print command, instead of asking somebody to fetch it for you, go and get it. In case you want to tell something to your colleague, go and tell it to him , instead of using the intercom.

2) In case your office spans more than one floor, take the stairs. Most of us usually avail the lift or escalator. Try and use the stairs as much as you can.

3) If you happen to be stranded in a position for a long time, go and take a brisk walk around the office. You can simply go about saying Hi !! to your fellow workers. This will also help to improve your inter personal skills in office.
4) If you just can not manage to get up from your seat, stretch your hands and legs. Flex your legs out and move them.
